Welcome to Seaside Vegan Kitchen
Hi, I’m Natasha, the creator behind Seaside Vegan Kitchen – a space dedicated to making vegan food approachable, affordable, and absolutely delicious. I’ve been vegan since 2016 - with a passion for animals, health, and the planet, I share easy-to-follow, low-cost plant-based recipes that are perfect for individuals and families alike. I believe that every meal is an opportunity to create a kinder world—saving animals one plate at a time.
I found my passion for cooking once I went vegan, and I love showing that plant-based food can be just as comforting, flavorful, and satisfying as anything else. My goal is to break down the myth that being vegan is expensive or complicated. Food access, food insecurity, and economic challenges are very real, and they fuel my mission to show that healthy, compassionate eating is possible on any budget. I am not a believer in making things overly complicated with loads of ingredients. With our days packed with responsibilities, sometimes the last thing you want to do is…cook. I get it – I too have these days, and being in the kitchen is my “happy place”! So yes, I will share easy, moderate, and sometimes more challenging to make recipes – but cook what is right for you!
Beyond cooking, I’m passionate about the health benefits of plant-based eating. I earned my Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, which deepened my understanding of how whole-food, plant-based eating supports overall wellness. While I am not a nutritionist - I love sharing knowledge that empowers others to make informed, delicious, and compassionate food choices.
